How to make a deposit at Bitfinex

  1. First of all, you need to go to the Wallet page and select Deposits.
  2. Select the type of deposit you want to make: Credit/Debit card, Cryptocurrency, Bank transferor Tether tokens.
  3. Select the currency you want to deposit to Bitfinex.
  4. Choose which of your wallets you will be depositing to. For an overview of the different wallets, see here.
  5. Now, copy the address created for the specific wallet.

How to make a withdrawal at Bitfinex

  1. Firstly, go to your Wallet page and select Withdrawals.
  2. Select the type of withdrawal you want to make: Cryptocurrency, Bank transfer, Tether tokens or Lightning Network.
  3. Select the currency you want to withdraw from Bitfinex.
  4. Choose which of your wallets you will be withdrawing from. For an overview of the different wallets, see here.
  5. Then, fill in the details of your withdrawal. Important: Be sure to include a tag or a memo if needed.
  6. Choose which of your wallets you will be withdrawing from. For an overview of the different wallets, see here.
  7. Finally, press the Request Withdrawalbutton.

Note: For some currencies, your account will need to be at least Intermediate verified.
For fiat withdrawals, your account will need to be Fully verified.
Also, currencies you do not have on your account will not be available for withdrawal.

Deposit/Receive Cryptocurrency to your WazirX account

When you need to move your Cryptocurrency from another wallet/exchange to your WazirX wallet, you need to go through the process of Depositing cryptocurrency to your WazirX account.

The first step here is to get the Deposit address from your WazirX wallet so you can add it to the withdrawal process in the wallet/exchange you are sending the coins from.

  1. Click on Fundsat the top of your screen
  2. Selectthe coin you want to Deposit
  3. Click on the Depositbutton

Here you will see your Destination Address. Click on the copy button to copy the address and paste it into the withdrawal section of wallet/exchange from where you are sending the coins.

  1. On the Home screen, tap on the Funds tab
  2. Selectthe coin you want to Deposit
  3. Tap on the Depositbutton at the bottom

Here you will see your Destination Address. Click on the copy button to copy the address and paste it into the wallet/exchange from where you are sending the coins.

How much time will the deposit take?

Depending on the network speeds/congestion of the coins/tokens you are depositing, most deposits will happen super fast. Please avoid contacting the support team unless your deposit has not been reflected for more than 24 hours.

Withdraw/Send Cryptocurrency from your WazirX account

When you need to move Cryptocurrency from your WazirX wallet to another wallet/exchange, you need to go through the process of Withdrawing cryptocurrency from your WazirX account.

The first step here is to get the Deposit address from the receiving wallet/exchange that you want to deposit the cryptocurrency to. The steps involved to get your Deposit address depend on the wallet/exchange you want to deposit to. Once you have your deposit address ready with you, follow the below steps in your WazirX account

How much time will the Withdrawal take?

We try to process the withdrawals as soon as possible. Withdrawals are processed within 30-60 minutes. However, sometimes withdrawals could take up to 24 hours to process. Most withdrawals are processed in much lesser time.

For security reasons, we store most funds in a cold wallet. Sometimes, if the withdrawal requests are high and funds in the hot wallet are not enough to meet demand, we move funds from the cold wallet. This process usually takes longer but is a much safer and secure way.

  1. Click on Fundsat the top right of your screen
  2. Selectthe coin you want to Withdraw
  3. Click on the Withdrawbutton
  4. Type or paste the Destination Address. Cross check the destination address carefully.
  5. Enter Coinamountyou want to move. (Pro Tip: Click on Withdraw All if you want to move the full coin balance from your wallet)
  6. Add any Remarksfor your own reference. (The remark will only be seen in your WazirX account and not your receiving account)
  7. Click on Proceed. You will be sent a One Time Password (OTP) on your mobile
  8. Enter your OTP & Click on

Open your email & click on Approve this withdrawal button in the confirmation email you receive.
Note: If you are withdrawing XRP, XLM, EOS, you will be asked to enter your Destination address as well as Destination Tag or Memo.
